Curies measure an amount of radiation - not a volume of gas. Is it true that no new reactors were ordered after TMI - only in process ones completed? Also "2.5 million curies of radioactive gas" is wrong. Killed an industry? The US has the largest nuclear generating industry in the world, over 100 reactors producing over 8% of total US output.
